Wooden chest use causing kick out of property

Issue:
upon opening wooden chest I get booted out to the front of my property. Chest is left open and inventory list is gone. Chest can't be closed.

Steps to reproduce:
*note this is random and doesn't happen all the time
Be in a player city (The Highlands for me)
open chest in player housing (chest was place on roof of benefactor knight house on a village lot)
Alt- if someone else has the chest open and you approach
