Worthless Old Key

    Today I found a "Worthless Old Key" in my inventory, but no idea where I got it from. Curiously, after release 38 loaded I had an "Unknown Item" in my inventory and now since the last patch that is gone. Not sure if that's when the "Worthless Old Key" showed up.

    I found a key in the soltown sewer. There is a locked door down there and I think thats what the key is for. I havent been back there to try the key yet. Im not sure if its the same key you have.

    No, that's the Well Worn Key. It does open that door in the sewers. Different key though. I'm guessing the Worthless Old Key was some key to some passage that got reworked in the release.

    I thought the worthless key was for that quest to go to the guys farmhouse in east perennial trail because he locked himself out or something.

    I also have the worthless key. The only key I had before that appeared was the key from Blackblade Foothills and that one disappeared. It has to be that one.

    Your key used to be for locks in Blackblade Foothills. Turns out, we ended up with two keys for Blackblade Foothills that had identical purposes. We wanted to get rid of one of them, but we can't just obliterate keys that people already have in their inventory. What we did was leave one of the keys to continue on as normal, while the other got renamed to "Worthless Old Key" and no longer works on any lock.
