Wyvern Haunch Recipe

But i also do not see it in the R71 notes anymore...

Hope it comes with one butchery recipe wyvern haunch to wyvern meat and 2 cooking recipes.

It would be good if one of this cooking recipes uses Crackling and Oil that result in a grilled crispy wyvern food, or so.
Crackling and Oil is still a cooking component that is not used in a recipe, yet. Using this in one of the wyvern recipes will also give a use to fat, that is also of no use currently.

As there is turkey meat in game and a working butchery recipes exists also and Christmas s not far away...and there are no recipes for cooking turkeys...
I think adding a Christmas turkey to the cooking recipes as decoration would be cool. May also add a ornate variant to the coto shop.
And 2 new poultry recipes made from turkey as food. May similar bonus like duck and chicken.

 

need to have a Tur-duck-en recipe!

In addition to no wyvern haunch recipe and no wyvern cooking recipes, the wyverns don't appear to be dropping heads to use for mounting. Anyone else seen any heads drop? Kind of disappointing to see them played up in the R71 notes and sota web page, and then have them no where to be seen. Any word on this, devs?

 

they started dropping last release. there have been screenshots.

 

Girlsname was selling one a while back. They do drop, just extremely rare I guess.

 

I killed many wyverns throughout R70 and didn't get a single head.

If the drop rate is a concern id recommend you make a new feedback thread. This thread is about the haunches....

You might want to make a new feedback thread about Wyvern Head drop rates. I am seeing them dropping from the API data on https://sotagraphs.com/

They are not found/acquired. They were in the draft notes but not the final version

 

Lets just hope that the reason for the delay is that they are actually going to make them worth cooking....
Considering the rarity of the drop rate of haunches, they need to have a decent return and be at least as good if not better than the obsidian foods....

 

Since I've been on a quest to get a wyvern head (which seems impossible), I've at least collected 16 wyvern haunches (also very rare).
