Bear sightings ???

    Ive scoured Hidden vale swamps as well also cleared spawn areas and at various time of the day nada.

    That includes ravensmoor and RK

    Are you sure DS knows where hidden vale is? He might be in soltown catacombs or something /wink

    (Its ok if its hard, please make sure its working)

    It will be immensely frustrating to everyone who's spent days doing this if it ends up being "woopsie, they are meant to be there, but aren't." Certainly makes one lose faith in trying to find this sort of thing.
    I'm really hoping its a quest trigger or puzzle or tricksy something that no one's discovered yet.
    Guess we'll see.

    @DarkStarr I will volunteer for the high level bears to spawn in Dara Brae. That way peeps can find them. ;)

    No I have not had tune to look for
    Them and my taming is at 120 so I am out of the taming range. :)

    For anyone that wants a large obsidian bear or fero bear patriarch...I put a bunch on my vendor in Crafters town yesterday. Only 5k each :)

    I'm not even a tamer...I am looking for this bear so I can kill it, chop it up, cook it, and eat it.
    Well, ok no, not really....
    I'm looking for it on behalf of a tamer ^.^

    @Pawz have you checked in the ruined keep


    Ive used stealth to check inside the front area but couldnt open the inner wall door without tevealing myself, and you cant see the middle room from over the back wall.

    If it hasnt been checked before i get off work ill get the cuttlekin ring and enbry’s harp and check it out

    Trolls kill bears, why would the bear be inside? And yes we did me and snugg and killed most mob inside, i even went back alone to kill goruk and see if bear would spawn. And by the time we have spent there, we did day and night a couple times

    Did yall try killin everything overnight in moors of northshore?

    Or any of the swamp scenes
    Or looking for sinkholes that lead to secret caves or somethin

    Just throwing out suggestions to help folks who are still interested in looking for it. Will check myself later but im at work.

    Yeah I have spent over 8 hrs in ruined keep and no spawn above large obsidian bear. Every zone has been checked and rechecked, every single mob has been killed to see if it a placeholder, even the lil bunnies etc. Not just by me but also 50 or so other folks. The bears are NOT spawning. If the fero obsidian and obsidian destroyer are in game they are so rare as to be worthless. NO other mob in SotA has been so hard to find as these bears. But my guess and the guess of so many others that have spent days looking for them is that they are NOT in game.
