What happened to my house?

    I've been away on vacation for 10 days, and when I returned, my row lot was claimed by someone else and my things put in my bank. It's still R13, and no clue why it got wiped? In addition, I lost 40,000 gold in-game by buying houses (including this one) that was never returned to my bank. Now I don't have enough gold to get another house! What is up with that?

    There is a 7 day inactivity timeout on lots for now. At release it will be much longer. Anyway, R13 will be over soon and there is going to be a wipe for R14.

    Same reason it isn't when you claim a new lot :< It should be.

    They did give us fair warning a month or so ago, and it was in one of the emails that property needs to be refreshed every 7 days. Just log in or have somebody else with permissions visit your house while you are gone.

    I now remember the warning of the timeouts, but I had no one friended to the house, and my husband was on vacation with me & no way to log in to refresh. Now I can't even claim a lot because I no longer have enough money.

    They really should refund a lot deed or gold. I'm sure this will be fixed come launch, but in the meantime, I can't own a house without a lot more hours earning gold. *sigh*

    Here's where an android app might come in handy to log in and do simple stuff like chat on the guild chat channel, refresh our house, send private messages to friends...

    oh wait don't tell me you have an iPhone. forget it you're out of luck. LoL I'm kidding

    I have 100,000 gold if you want it. I have no plans to buy anything between now and R14. I also have a lot and house that you can use if you want. But someone will have to teach me how to get it to you. :)

    Thanks for the offer! The game will be wiped in a couple of days anyway, so no worries. I don't think you can transfer houses yet? Or do you friend someone, then somehow give it to them? I really don't know. I had a row house in Ardoris, right where I wanted it and poof. Oh well, I'll try to claim it in R14 on the 29th

    LOL - you obviously are not a 'house' person. There's nothing like going /home after hours of adventuring - placing your newly found treasures in your rooms - and then settling down in your favourite chair next to a roaring fireplace before calling it a night. :)

    Thanks for all the kind offers! I have never friended anyone in the game yet, so will be sure to in the future!

    I upgraded my account today, so keeping my house shouldn't be a problem either. :)
