Heraldry submissions appear to be open

I see but what if I use some of the provided images rather than my own ?

 

Hi there, sorted my heraldry problem and learned some skills at image design at same time. Made my own heraldry via a custom application inkspace and ensured that background was transparent. Exported image as a .png and uploaded. Was accepted and now in game with no transparent background - Happy days.
Re the white square in the Blazon Generator, I was advised by Portalarium Support that the "default" position should be that the background is transparent when you submit your Blazon. If it does appear to have a background applied when you see it in the preview window then I would "bug" it. Hope this helps guys

HI there, used a modified version. Cross with lion in centre with a much smaller crucifix within a crown in top right quadrant. (top left for the wearer). I made sure I gave thanks to both you and Oakenhammer for the help you guys gave in a different post

Can anyone recommend a heraldry generator that's effective but easy to use ?

Have been looking at the images within the blazon generator but have yet to be happy enough with what can be done there.

 

No such tool has ever existed.

This whole heraldry thing sounds quite appealing but I have two basic questions for either @DarkStarr or the experts. 1) is this an exclusive thing for founders only or are non founder adventurer pledges allowed to partake of this feature. 2) I noticed some of the examples of banners on housing. Is there anything available for pirate galleons? Maybe the sails on the ships ?. Any information on these questions is appreciated. R/Boris/El Pirata.

 

Originally it was a Pledge Reward for Early Backers and the feature was opened to them first and they were supplied with Unique Items on which to display their heraldry that would not be granted to others.
Since then there are now available in the Add-On Store Tabards and Shields, Banners and Cloaks that can be bought by anyone to display their Heraldry.
Once purchased, an option will become available on your Accounts page where you can subit your heraldry for approval.
Once approved it will be available in-game to apply to whatever Heraldic Items you purchased.

There are Banners which I imagine might be hung from ships, but I've heard of no plans to make Sails on Ships modifiable, though that would be cool... Flags would be another good addition.
Make a post in the Wishlist Requests forum suggesting it. The in-game image is only 256x256 pixels, though... It might not scale up well to the size of a Ship's Sail.

I used the Blazon Builder Tool to make and submit mine @ 3 weeks ago. On the page it reads, please re-visit this page to see if has been approved. (At the top of the page) I do not see it, one way or the other. I see the area where the Blazon is saved. To the left of that it reads "Current Blazon" and that's it. I have no message that it is or has been processed and is waiting on an approval. Some clarity on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

If I recall correctly if you use the Blazon Builder as I did you can self approve and don't need to wait for one of the team to do it.

If you're submitting a design produced by the Generator, all you should need to do is submit it.
