The peer to peer system design has already been abandoned, so this question has been overcome by events.

I have only one question.... well it would be more like pleading! "Can I have a job?" Sure I have no clue what kind of wizard magic and pixie dust is involved in game creation. But come on be a pal! Surely there is something I can do, lift heavy stuff, fetch coffee, trip over work stations, sing (poorly) and dance, wash your car, mow your lawn? Seriously anything (except sitting around looking pretty I got bored of that line of work) I am a quick learner and my job just cut and capped my pay, have a heart! :(

    10. Are you really trying to go to space again?
    9. Is the rumor about you searching for Gengis Khan's tomb true?
    8. Everyone's seen that massive collection of antiques, would you say you have a problem with "compulsive hoarding"(more accurately described as "hoarding disorder")?
    7. Is your "rat tail" hair-do inspired by Star Wars?
    6. Did anyone ever tell you that black is not a good color for you?
    5. How much is "enough"?
    4. Don't you feel that you've lost touch with the common gamer?
    3. Do you have a back-up plan?
    2. Is it true that you plan to take the money and run?
    1. Do you even lift, Bro?

    Lord British Says:
    10) Working on it, nothing to report as final enough...
    9) We should eventually have more options, but I like the whimsical... listening though!
    8) Eventually, I am sure, but the more "systemitized" version will come first.
    7) That's a question for Chris Spears and his team.
    6) When playing ANY form of online, even if you don't "see others" they are all involved in the economy. For example, you see and trade with each other vendors.
    5) I will pass on your lobby!
    4) This is in progress, but some type of PVP looting seems important, details TBD
    3) In time.
    2) That is my intent, we have set up the base system to allow it.
    1) TBD

Space: Amazing of course! Training: fun and not as "hard" as you might think, Launch: smooth and silent, unlike even I expected, Weightlessness: a blast!, View of Earth: Life changing, I am now MUCH more of an environmentalist in how I live my life, Reeentry: smooth and surreal as the vehicle melts around you, then SMASH you crash into the ground!

I thought Chris Spears said we trashed the P2P version and everything goes through servers... so...?
    True! okay...
    Me too! (sorry Drocis)
YES! Thanks you just made a lot of us happy saying SOMETHING about it :) The whole reason I replied to your comment was to say THANK YOU for saying this. /happy happy happy
SWEET! I look forward to it even if it's R2
    Excellent!
If you can please do "blessed" items or limit what can be stolen without killing them... otherwise you devalue the victory of battle!
Yeah, I imagine going to space would change your view on the planet... must of us will never know :p

    Lord British Says:
    10) We have discussed instanced rooms at inns and such, could add if we blow out all property, but only if property values skyrocket and we would not crater peoples investments in land!
    9) We not be hatin' on the tamers! Just trying to make the process more interesting/involved.
    8) If you are separated by vacuum, yes. In the same vehicle, you can. See this link:
    7) The fire alarm went off! No, really, it did!
    6) No... but that may be a good reason!
    5) SotA did not exist yet... Silly question.
    4) More than you can shake a stick at!
    3) Rhino stables is a GREAT idea! Just passed on Stables and other "secondary structures" to team!
    2) 42 of course, why did you ask such an easy one?
    1) I will look into it.... :)

It looks like that way for the non-tamers, but as a straight-tamer it seems like a lot of un-nesessary taming "breaking" hoops that will not enhance the main goal for tamers.

    Lord British says:
    10) I "found" D&D, Lord of the Rings and computers at almost the same time... hard to say, it clearly filled some deep need!
    9) Neutral - The experiences in Virtual Worlds are just as "meaningful" as those outside. But you do need to make time, to eat, sleep and have a real life too!
    8) Virtual exploration allows a great variety of experiences in a compact package. Role Playing can be one of the most powerfully enriching experiences of all... if the experience is designed to be such.
    7) Anonymity, which has some advantages, such as freeing you from some reasons for shyness, allows many to express their darkest interpersonal relations.
    6) Yes.
    5) I believe "immortality" is close at hand. For our children, its likely. For me... I may just miss it!
    4) I love Raph's work. He was ESSENTIAL in UO! I do hope we get to work together again. Especially if it keeps the Trolls busy!
    3) Not at all. Didn't know about the guitar...
    2) Vanilla, absolutely!
    1) :)

    Thanks for the response!

Concerning question 6, that's a very good point about the economy being all encompassing. But have you thought about how someone that never PVP's may likely have a huge economic advantage over someone that always PVP's? Because presumably the non-PVPer would risk much less than the PVPer.

    10) It will be 10 years or more before I would be able to go back... but yes, I believe I will, someday!
    9) Close. Members of the Explorers Club are, but I am not yet on the team... maybe though...
    8) Its not hoarding... if you can afford a display case for it... isn't it?
    7) NOOO!!!! I have had my rat tail since 1983, LOOONG before Star wars used it. Its since been in/out/in and now out of fashion. Mine is "just me", like the snake I wear.
    6) What color do you suggest?
    5) Enough allows you to explore your dreams!
    4) I am a common gamer! I play more hours of games than most by FAR! But I have NEVER played very many competing RPG's... don't usually like them. LOVED WOW for a time. Loved MANY RTS's, Many Myst like games, Many graphic adventures.
    3) My problem in life, is far too many interests! Games remains #1. I love space (obviously), but would love to build a proper interactive theme park!
    2) Run where? If there was enough money to run to say... Mars, I would be tempted... but, I have been all around and over the earth, so no need to run there again.
    1) Dude, I run! Ran 3 marathons two summers ago. Hope to run 1+ this summer!
    :)

Will we be able to place things anywhere on the ground both inside and outside of town?
If so how long will they remain there before they decay?
If so will there be things like trap boxes or poison apples that can be placed anywhere?
Will seasons bring snow in the winter?
Will seasons affect things like when to grow certain plants?
Will there be dye tubs for clothing and furniture?
Can we cook and eat all creatures, including humans?
When will we see the boat houses?
Will we be able to lay down on the beds?
When will we hear more about recall and gate travel?
