    Actually, my pet Obsidian Bear Barelee knows where all the bears are but is not telling because he knows you will try and kill them.

    Reminds me of the search for the ferocious red spider. In the end it was in cave in a low level area. Perhaps this bear is also hidden in a valley you normally doesn't visit.

    @DarkStarr @Chris I personally know of 30 or so people that spent anywhere from 3 to 6 hours looking for the bears yesterday and no one found even one bear. We need answers from the devs at this point, if the bears are in fact NOT in game , this is a tremendous waste of time. If the bears are in in game and they are super rare then at least tell us what zone they are in so we can sit there for days at a time and know that we at least have the possibility of finding a bear.

    Personally, I applaud this approach to content. This is probably the best 'exploration hunt' the game has had in a long time. I hope they're discovered by a total noob :p.

    And if the devs have made a mistake and the bears are NOT in fact in game? Do you applaud the wasting of so much time and effort? It has happened in the past, we are just asking the devs to better check the bears and confirm that they are in fact spawning.
