    lol!

Cloth maps as well, Signing cloth will be harder than paper!
As he's in with the Space community perhaps he could get them to program a robot to do it for him!

Nooo, he would first have to grovel at my feet. It was clearly stated that he would hand sign them! If he doesn't, that voids his word so he must then give me anything I choose as payment of a machine signed map, say LOTM deed, hehe

I practiced my signature growing up. It now looks perfect... unreadable as every other musicians on the planet, but I can sign something in a couple milliseconds. lol

So does that mean that all doctors are really musicians with their unreadable prescription scribbles, or is it that all musicians really doctors moonlighting?

Um... if you want to trust your health to Dr. Ozzy Ozborne, MD, be my guest. I'll be over here, preparing the inscription on your tombstone.

    Welcome to the community!

The signed maps and such are only at higher tiers. But I think at a high enough tier, RG is signing his D&D campaign notes, the cloth map, and his Sosaria essay.

There were 1,116 backers at Patron or higher (getting at least 2 signed items) when the KS ended. Since then, the number of pledges has slightly more than tripled.

And with the referral credits for all the Founder gifts and reasons to upgrade, we may have a higher percentage of people at higher tiers now. The average pledge per person has gone down over time, but I think all the $10,000 pledges early in the campaign threw the bell curve off. We may have more $200 pledges today than before, and less of the really high pledge levels.

I'm not sure if 20,000 was a random guess, but I think that may be fairly accurate. When they get ready to ship, I think RG will likely have to do 20,000 signatures.

Not sure if you can see this KS update for a different project if you didn't back it, but they were in a similar boat. Ryan North ended up signing 14,200 books and book plates. He was able to crank out over 4,000 a day with his system. But that was all he did all day long. RG may literally have to dedicate a week to doing nothing but signatures.

It's odd about that date. It seems to me that they want to keep the map a secret as long as possible, well from what we've heard commented here and there that is.

Since SotA should have a more dynamic combat system, I think it will be more difficult to gain an advantage with macros or third party programs.

Not sure if RG has seen this thread yet, but he might want to start getting stacks of his essay and campaign notes and just start signing them now.

I would love to see the video for this. John Green signed over 150,000 copy's of his book. Fault in our Stars.
    Him starting signing
    Him near the end
    took him about 70 days.

Here's something I've not seen asked nor answered.

Will it be signed 'Lord British' or 'Richard Garriott? :)

Plus it's Cloth.. That's gonna slow the signing way down.

Maybe just develop a stamp and stamp 'em.

Or maybe have 2 print files, one with a sig in the image and one without.
