First Anniversary of Umbra Regnum

Dear friends,


April 8th will be the first anniversary of Umbra Regnum and, of course, I would like to celebrate it with all of you.

The event will be held at Governor Ayin's Castle, from the entrance of the city, heading north (the castle can be seen from the entrance but you can also take the Signpost to the Town Crier).


I have built a beautiful piano for the occasion, you can bring your favorite sheet music to liven up the evening and there will be food, drink and cake for everyone.


Dress in the prettiest outfit, or the craziest or least coordinated outfit you prefer and come eat and dance!

* Remember, Umbra Regnum is by the sea, between Soltown and Castle Atos

 

I am pleased to announce that Ravalox and Scott will be honoring us with their presence at the event to the extent that their work allows.
Prepare your reverence emote to receive them as they deserve!

 

It is with a heavy heart that I announce I will not personally be able to make this event! I will be out in the field until April 12th. Blast Itall has added your event to our guild calendar and I hope that Haven Ridge can be in attendance in some capacity. Congratulations to you and the Anniversary of Umbra Regnum! I wish you all the best!

 

I'm sorry you can't make it, I hope someone from my neighboring town, Haven Ridge, can come.

 

The celebration begins to take shape.
For such an important occasion, the main floor of the castle will have various different spaces: the banquet hall with exquisite delicacies, the musical space with various instruments and a dance platform, and a quieter corner for those who wish to have tea after the feast.

Next to the stage you will find several barrels from which you can take drinks, food and cake.
There will be alcoholic beverages (low alcohol content, I don't want you to have an accident with your horse later), dishes for celiacs, vegetarians, fish and meat lovers.
And you can also take a book with the recipe for the delicious Spanish omelette, a real luxury because it is a very limited edition!

*My fish memory may not remember to give public access to the barrels. If during the party you cannot take food from them, please tell me.

Excuse my ignorance, when you say "DJ", do you mean someone who plays the instruments I have placed or some other way of providing music during the event? In either case, that would be great, thanks

A DJ is someone who decides what music to play and usually plays per-recorded music. In SotA this is usually done on a Phonograph using Wax Cylinders. The Instruments are usually a more cordial setting for Music. I will be there and dance to either or both of those settings. Happy anniversary for your town and being a Governor.

 

Since 2016 Avatars Radio has hosted parties by broadcasting over the air in-game music for your party. We often simulcast the events on Twitch! Here are some examples, as it's easier to see than describe We'd be happy to lend some tunes over the airwaves just for your party!

I've seen the videos, I would love for you to DJ at my party!
Do I have to prepare something? I have placed a stage with a piano but I can put the piano in another place. And I am moving the preparation to the terrace, there is more room to dance and it will be great to celebrate the party outdoors and with views of the sea.

 

As I mentioned in the previous message, the party will be held on the terrace of the castle. So you don't get lost in my new and beautiful castle, the path is marked.
On the way you can browse all you want, although since I just installed it, the castle is almost empty, only the first two rooms on the ground floor are decorated. Please don't step on the blood and don't disturb my janitor's nap. Ah, the zombie doesn't bite, he just wants affection. Cats don't want affection, they want to bite.

 

The party is ready for Saturday!

Had to leave earlier than I'd hoped, but that was a fun evening and hopefully the first of many more anniversary celebrations for Umbra Regnum!

 

The party has been great, but the greatest thing are you.
Thanks to everyone for coming, thanks to Winfield, Allium and Ravalox for finding time at work to attend, and thanks to Scotty who couldn't make it on time. I hope he was able to mend his carriage wheel
