PvP enabled basement. What for?

I just placed my house and put a basement down. I clicked enable PvP =P
Soooo..... what good is this feature? Is it just my own personal dueling arena now? I guess it might be interesting to step into my basement and see a couple of players who snuck down there to duel or something I don't know?
Who wants to come into my PvP enabled basement? hehe
EDIT: I just thought of an exciting idea(for me anyways). I want to link my basement to the basements of other willing people in the town I live in by a tunnel/dungeon that exists under the city! I want to have a super high level spawn area in my basement. I want my basement to be so dangerous and full of loot/treasures that I will hesitate to click on it when I approach it. I want to be able to customize my part of the dungeon with furniture and stuff just like I do with my house. Though... a critter might slay me while placing down a table or chair. I want the monsters in my basement to loot players when they slay them. Then the monsters will dismember the players and make a totem as their 'finishing move'! I want full loot PvP enabled in this basement as well. >=-P

And I will use the arena basement as a PvP event location.

 

I at least wish you could get something like a "zombie spawn deed" or a "skeleton spawn deed" and have your only little mob spawns in your basement. Then enable PvP in it. Ideally spawns that drop loot when you slay them. =P

 

This is actually a feature that Starr mentioned might be available in a Hangout of the Avatar a couple of releases ago. I don't think he mentioned the Loot Drop though.

I think I should get loot drops from creatures that I slay in my basement. I wouldn't mind it if I just had really low level spawn. Maybe even just wimpy little snakes and alligaters and it'd just be a slightly dangerous little basemen. Ghosts skeletons and zombies wuld be ideal though. Id love to use the doomsday tombstone thing or whatever and place it in the basement and have the most powerful undead spawn there.

 

hmm... It would be fun to make a basement progressively worse based on how far down you go:
split level basement version:
1st floor: 1 mimic or skeleton per room.
2nd floor: multiple skeletons and zombies per room
3rd floor: hardened skeletons per room
4th floor: multiple large red spiders per room
5th floor: lich

 

So, this is for playing Lambs in the basement?

 

its more for guild traning in pvp where you can have battles to test out attacks . in UO we had castle battles with tamed dragons we had to defend agemst our own guild mates red vers blue shirts . think of this but underground

Yeah, he said something like you might be able to collect some rare item that spawns a limited number of monsters. I believe his example was stealing spider eggs from a giant spider nest, and then having a few spiders that you can hatch in a PVP area. I'm assuming this can be expanded to include a bunch of other creatures. Sounds fun, but not sure how I feel about it since I don't care for PVP.
