I don't suppose there's a listing of lot locations anywhere? I'm probably going to have 2-3 hours to find a row lot before group 91 starts and, well, it'd be neat if I actually managed to place a house somewhere.

Although... I suppose if I don't I'll have a pledge to sell, so at least I'll get some cash back.

Fantastic! I was poking around and couldn't find much other than bouncing between the map and wiki which was... daunting.

    Thank you.

Question, if I use my tax free lot deed and the player evicts me, will I lose that deed forever?

No all items will revert to bank.

Where would I find said bank? I am having a problem or two. First, I upgraded, so I am trying to figure out how to get my Town tax free deed and second I am trying to find the bank (in the lot the bank says) where all my stuff is just in case I need to delete anything to go from a village tax free deed to a town.

Banks are located in different spots for each template. Some of them just have a Town Crier/Bank NPC.

All town criers in POTs are also bankers.

I've not seen the interface myself, but I understand that your Deed can be upgraded from the Deed Window accessible through the "U" key... Someone else will need to provide the details on how this works.
It should simply upgrade the deed, without you having to change anything, but again, I've not done it personally, so please don't take me an an authoritative source.

Rest assured... No Governor can do anything that will take anything from you other than your right to live in their town. Your deed, houses, and all other possessions would, in the event of an eviction, simply be moved to the Bank, which can Always be accessed through the Town Crier in the scene. The Governor has no control over the Town Crier.

Are lots account-bound, or character-bound? Basically what I'm asking is, what happens to my lot if I create a new character? I'd like to play through the intro again once the Truth story is completed - I really liked what I saw of the current incomplete intro.

You will retain your lot, and all the contents of your bank account if you reroll your character.

Just ensure you are not carrying anything in your personal inventory (since that will be lost). :)

To anyone selecting lots (including myself as of today) --- Save yourself the trouble.

I have not found a single village lot in ANY NPC town anywhere on the map. You'll need to start looking in player towns... exactly as I had surmised.

I try to stay positive on my forum posts here - but @Devs -- this is a terrible experience.

What map are you looking at? Only looking in game? Try this.

I've confirmed this ... I re-rolled yesterday and the house and everything in it remained intact. (Remembered to empty my inventory as well, so lost nothing).

Plenty of village lots in the beautiful PRT of Port Titan, close to Owls Head and Kingsport

Row lots are fine still, too. As of group 72 yesterday, there were still hundreds available in NPC towns, including some pretty prime, central locations in towns like Brittany or Ardoris.

    You surmised wrong it seems...

Check the spreadsheet and then go look again.

Also if you don't like what is left in the storyline 'NPC' towns, you still have the other NPC towns, somewhat inaccurately described as 'player run' towns with loads of village lots left.

Only after both of those would you be forced to look at player owned towns.
