How do I plant seeds

Hi everyone
I was trying to have a little dabble at planting my little seed. I got buckets of water , a planting bowl, a hoe, and .......... oh yes my seed at hand. However that is at far as I get. Being trying and trying . I can open up the plant bowl window , but it will not let me plant the seed. ............I bet its something really really simple but I just cant see it. Please help make my home a little greener.

 

drag water, hoe and seed into the planter window. It should let you.

 

Also, make sure you only have 1 bucket of water dragged onto the window. I made that mistake.

 

Ahhh yes that was the problem, I did the same had more then one bucket of water in my pack. Thank you, my little sprout is now happy sitting on my patio enjoying the sun

Yep, all happy now and on the way of becoming a keen gardener

 

I have noticed that if you are using the inventory "bag mode", the Plant button does not light up. However, you can still click it and it will work.

P.S.: Where do you buy your seeds? I've only found a vendor in Kingsport who's got a very limited selection. No one seems to stock cotton seeds.

 

Owl's head has everything but cotton. Ardoris is very limited but has cotton. Kiln supposedly has everything.

 

Thanks. I had a quick look around Ardoris, but the place is so big that I gave up after a while. I'll try again!

 

It is located behind the main square towards the south. There is a group of vendors in tents. The tailor has the cotton seed.

 

uhh what planter window? im staring at a pot in my house and have no idea what to do =(

 

I figured it out, sorry for post. For some reason only the edges of my pot are clickable to get window, middle is dead zone
