My Dreams have come true

 

Finally got that login working. Glad too be here.

 

I'm an old school gamer from the 70's myself. Raised on Ultima I-V on my Apple IIe, I couldn't be more excited to be part of this new project!

 

I'm very interested in SotA and I'm backing too! I'm jumping into the community aspect, especially with Player Town ideas. I'm from UO (1997-present) and Ultimas back to the Apple days. Glad to be here!!

Hi everyone! I was so excited to hear this game announced! I played Ultima Online heavily back in the day, and ran my own tavern on Great Lakes. It's going to be great to see old and new friends in this game!

 

Hello. I'm an old adventurer out of Ultima's past (IV is an all time favorite), having got my start in gaming as the kid of an aerospace worker, wide-eyed and drugged on text based games like Adventureland and Zork. Several years later I was lapping up the novels of Hickman/Weis amongst others.

Currently my avatar Hazard lives in the shard of Baja Felucca in a very old player abandoned outpost called Avalon. He was one of the first residents and is likely the last resident and has been shuttered up these last 5 years or so. A few of the names here do sound familiar as he may have visited Paxlair and Kazola's over a decade ago.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to adventuring or being killed by a small handful of you at a time, possibly with a new avatar. ;]

 

I'm not sure if I posted on here yet but I'm Link_of_Hyrule in the chat and Matthew the new moderator on the G+ Fan community. I'm looking forward to playing the game with all of you! Keep up the great work devs!

Good to be here. I lived through the early Ultima days on my Apple ][e, IV being my favorite. I still have the old Apple and believe it or not, it still works. At least it did about 5 years ago when I last gave it a test run!

Hello, im a new member...never ever played a RP in my life, never ever heard about Uo, never ever actually played an online game...or a videogame at all...by the way do i need to buy a PC to play the game?

Lordy he said on kickstarter that it is PC only, don't know if that means Mac as well (so just no console or tablets) or if its purely just PC but would GUESS the former. So yes you need something to play it on

Finally a NEW game in tradition of the good old RPGs, when roleplaying was not only a shell for killing monsters and collecting loot.

I've missed this for a decade. Damn, am I really that old?

First post but am a long time Ultima Fan but had not posted anything on these forums. I am looking forward to playing both single player and multi. So Exciting!

Backed also .. - i just talked to a friend about, how great it would be if lord britsh starts again to get back to his roots - and a week or two later - he's exactly doing that thing.
