Haunted Mansion Village House

Has anyone seen how much of the Village Lot Real estate the new Gothic mansion takes up? I am wondering how much room is outside for Deco for example will the Gallows or Dead trees will fit on the lot?

i went to hometown a couple hours ago and was not there. not saying it is or is not now, but may very well still not be.

I (Oculai Sylverthorne) also just put mine up in Aerie, you can check it out there - go behind the giant guildhall, then downhill a bit to the residential district to the Southwest, near the farmer's windmill. There's a thin strip of land left around the mansion you might be able to cram small deco items on (I put a birdbath and one of those generator windmills around mine), there's a much larger outdoor area up on the roof.

 

I checked it out in Hometown just before. It is MASSIVE, however if you are interested be ready to forfeit yard space (It pretty much takes up the entire block). You will fit a fence on it and that's about it. The roof-top should have sufficient space for outside activities though.

That is a great use of space. Looking forward to a stone version.

 

There are plenty of passages. In the 4th screenshot you can see one which is open to the right hand side.

When I first checked it out, I went through the secret passages and got very lost. It is worth noting that there are 3 floors of space + rooms on each floor.

 

I love it! and the rest of the new add-ons look great as well!

At first I thought hmmm it was too colonial style versus gothic, but someone in Wizards Rest added one and man is this a cool house. So many secret passages and doorways and all the wall paper make it so unusual and unique. Very fun to explore as well. It does need the dead trees around it to give it more of a haunted look imo.

 

Have you all noticed that the crows are circling the mansion. I am not much for creepy things but this house is amazing really love it so much effort gone in creating it.

 

That's a great creepy house! I hope not too many people purchase it (sorry Devs!) because it is similar to the lighthouse - one looks fantastic and adds atmosphere to the neighborhood, but 4 or 5 in a row would ruin the effect.

Cute, furry little cuddly bats. Who wouldn't want that around ones house?

 

I love it but was really hoping for a resident ghost or two.

 

Have you tried standing inside the mansion alone in the dark at midnight?
