Elad's Lighthouse Settlers

If you had come by to use anything at the Castle and it wasnt there, sorry about that. Had an accident and need to do some replacement of items.

At this time, I have the following set-up, please feel free to use if its of benefit:

complete set of crafting stations

I have added a crafting supply vendor, but will be slowly adding to its stock as time Goes. This is in the crafting ara in the front door of house - fast and convenient.

Sitting/seating area right near the front door if youd like to chill and chat with someone.

Piano with some nearby sheet music.

Vibration amplifier so you can listen to teh radio while you craft.

A Teletype in case you get bored and need a break.

A printing press.

Ill put the telescope up on the roof soon!


I hope this is all of help to some, and I have additional things I am working on that will be added to that list in the future

 

Who is Elad and why does he have a lighthouse? Is there a back story to all this?

 

A character named Elad is a tradition in Ultima, as Elad is the counterpart of Dale Flatt, a friend of Richard's. If you happened to attend the HoBLotH's in Castleton, you probably met Dale. He's a nice guy.

 

If you go out to the actual big lighthouse, you can meet him, and chat

 

Hi all,

Just added two more expert crafting stations, textile and tailoring, to Palm Export and Trophy's. Close to the crafting pavilion, across the stone bridge, first cabana on the left.

Hi,

It would be great if everybody takes screen shots the way it looks now around your lot, then when we get the update we would have a nice before/after collection of the improvements/changes.

I went around the perimeter of the mountain my castle is on and did screen shots.I have a few months worth of screenshots to sort through, so give me a while to get to getting those shared. I do have that on my to-do list to get caught up on soon, though. Not sure where that will fall on the to-do list but I've been gaining a lot of ground of late

 

I have been taking screenshots almost daily... Can't wait to do the before and after from my Knight's village balcony.

 

I used to do that when founding a new base in Minecraft. It was fun to see how much myself and my friends modified/destroyed the environment while building. I would love to see this kind of thing at Elad's too.

 

Ok, so color me impressed. I LOVE the changes to our town! I no longer have trees clipping through my walls, I love the changes to the town itself, the cliffs, the waterfalls, the sunflowers and moss covered buildings. Love it! Hawkwind, your lot is freaking incredible and your house is decorated so darn awesome!

What has been done to Elad's is amazing!!! Best place in the game to live in my opinion. It was part accident I placed there (not entirely. Obviously I was looking there, so it had some appeal). But between this community and what's been done in it, I couldn't have chosen better!

 

Can someone's post some screenshots? I am in an isolated community in northern Canada until Friday. This is agonizing.

As an update to my footprint in Elad's, I now also have the city lot directly across from my castle entrance.

At the moment this is going to be used by some of my guild members for some vendors, and farmland above ground. We may try out one of those new nifty row greenhouses on it if I can find the recipe and resources to craft one.

It may take a little while but well have it looking nice although it will be mostly utilitarian.

 

If anyone knows hyperion blackfire's forum name, or knows them in game - please ask them to drop me a note? Either here on the forums or as "oddjob" or "stile teckel" in game.

A friend of mine is wanting to see if he would be willing to trade lot locations so as to be by my castle. They are by an exit, and Id offer some rare items to make it worth their time, if they were willing. completely understand if they are not. I can offer some decent bribes though if they arent to attached to that exact spot in elads.

Beautiful sight. Never seen a harbor quite like it. Even the Star Citizen airship doesn't look out of place - for once.
