Need help

Got the game on steam and created an account but when i go to play the game i cant login through steam and i cant link my account to steam

 

You've tried linking through the shroud website? Under My Account -> far right tab links accounts.

 

i dont have the option to link accounts under the game client tab i just have more info which takes me to a faq

 

Are you able to display the screen shot what you see when you click on the play button?

I recall that you needed to click on something else.

 

Try resetting your password in your account: https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/ -> account.
Then log into the client through the normal login method.

As when you created an account or changed your password through the website, the steam login will not work anymore.

 

i go to play offline game click login through steam and get error has occured if i try to sign into the website using steam it just loops back to login

 

Have u downloaded game via Steam? Done all updates.

 

yeah i downloaded it from steam and i can click play on steam but it wont let me login through steam just gives me an error

 

Ignore the steam login method, just use the regular login method with username and password.

 

Did you check your virus protection to make sure it is not allowing shroud of the avatar access and could we get a little more info @sabrewlf to help like what did the error say and do you have system requirements to play this game since it is fairly high compared to some games for some systems.

still happening ok so heres what happend i got the game on steam downloaded it through steam but cant login through steam it just says an error occured and if i sign into the website with steam it just loops back to sign in i cany use the normal launcher because i have no pledge just the game on steam and i cant link it to this account i made

 

I usually direct people in instances as these if they don't have the standalone client, to just get that and login with steam credentials... I think that dl is on the main website possibly confusingly under free trial. Through steam... your patches will be bigger and other such undesirable things. I hope this helps. Good luck friend!

 

So were you able to log in to the website - > accounts page? Not the forums page. And logging in with the username and password that you created. (not log in with steam credentials)

 

yeah i can get to the account page but theres no option to link to steam for me
