Double clicking NPCs with a weapon unequipped is a quick way to start a conversation in R5. Trying it. A few times in dev+ test added a the steps of having to bring up the character panel so that you could unequipped your weapon before starting the conversation, so I found myself going back to the old method do just typing in the starter phrases. Some might say that this is a good thing, but wanting to improve on the dev's goals for the system I was wondering if there was a better way to start the conversation without having to unequip the weapon, talk for a bit, then remember to equip it again. What if we could sheath a weapon, a request in remember seeing before, then in that state we could double click to start a default conversation. It would seem a way to meet the dev's goals and not introduce a series of steps before and after the conversation.

While we'll eventually add the ability to sheathe your weapon, it won't be automatic and in the near future NPCs will react when you approach them with weapons drawn.

Basically, running around in town with your axe out and threatening people should not be default behavior!
