A canvas Print of Novia 1200 MM wide

    Hi everyone

    Just thought i would post a few snaps of my 1200mm wide Canvas map of novia i printed and hung on the wall.

    Map's file was the largest and most recent flavor of the map Jacub White Birko has done.

    the legends and whatnot on the map are readable, however i would have liked to work with something in the 50 or 60 megapixel range

    MASSIVE props to Jakub White on the original .jpg, and of course of all his work with SotAmap

    Amended to give original author, Birko, full props.

    Anyway, pics coming.

    Sorry mate, the image was dragged from Google Images, and unfortunately i overlooked your name below the Novia tag, saw Jakub White's name at the bottom and figured it was his hard work. Turns out i was Terribly wrong!

    This picture was selected with a pretty limited time frame, as a test print on a machine after it was moved (checking head striking and feed direction was all good).

    Once the print was done, i just did not want to throw it out :) as it is quite a beautiful wall piece. I do apologize for the misunderstanding, and have amended original post. Love your work. Props to you sir.

    You "just" print Birkos Map?

    Nice, i'll try to figure out where i can do that to hung it up in my room.

    I use Vivyx Printing for such things. I've gotten all my Denis Loubet art printed by them.

    But i first try to find something at work.
    I'm working for local gouvernment Office for Informationstechnology. Maybe we have something or at least a contact ;-)

    most local govt. town planning would have a wide format machine. Also, i work for a large printer company, we supply and service Digital imaging devices, so getting my hands on equipment to do unusual things is one of the job perks (among very few)

    I'm one of Denis' best private customers and cheer leaders. Rest assured I will not take money out of his pocket. In fact, generally, I've paid him on the order of 50% over his asking price, because I don't feel that he charges enough for his work.

    @Birko Mate, for all your hard work, ill do a Canvas test with a highres, on a more reasonable print speed, and if it comes out alright ill do one up for you too. Send me your address in a PM, and we will see if Auspost cant stuff up the postage (I am a fellow Aussie)
