Does anyone have any opinion on the change to the light armor innate skill acrobatics? It seemed like a pretty awesome skill before. Not sure the 75 points I have dedicated to it at this point is worth a pretty small dodge chance. Since I can recoup 100% of my points devoted to it during release 41, I'd really like to hear other opinions before my time is up. Thanks!

Before you recoup your xp in Acrobatics, try using it in tandem w/ the Dodge skill (the Dodge skill has an almost negligible post use cool down so use it as the first thing in an encounter). Also, try eating sufficient food to compensate for damages taken.

I wasn't a fan of the change at first but I now find it most beneficial, much better than pre r41.

I am skilling those light armor innates too.
But use evasion now instead of dodge, because i thought avoidance would be better than resistance.
I think the innates are it worth. My defense allways bases on iceshield, because it adds atunement and afaik not only for defense ;) and Def Stance.
Then i have situational decks with Douse for more fire resistance against Mages or Fire Elementals or Evasion to avoid Melee damage or nothing of this because i avoid fighting at all by using charm animal for example.

Anyone has experience with Escape? Trying to build a harvester deck which allows you to avoid fights at all?

escape really isn't useful unless there's somewhere else for the aggro to go. it's useful if you're in a party and someone else is tanking. it MIGHT be useful with a pet, but since pets add to your aggro it wouldn't last long.

    4% to dodge is great.

try wearing the gamblers ring, that give you a +5 to do a glancing blow.............
you will notice how much of your damage you miss because your attack becomes a glance blow.

so that 4% dodge is helping you avoid alot of damage!

Still wish it would add bonuses to evasion and increase speed in combat rolls ;)

    +1

I'm in love with dodge with last changes, it works really really well.

We can get dodge by using Dodge skill (light armor) + acrobatis (light armor) + blessing + leather armor set.
