--Scenario: a "dungeon" of some kind with nifty loot inside and nasties of sufficient number and power that a group of adventurers is required to successfully obtain said nifty loot. There are two different ways these dungeons can operate:
--A) follow the WOW, SWTOR, et al method of design. Players will then go to the appropriate Wicki site and copy down the "winning strategy". Dungeons become a run and gun event where "Do you know the fight?" is the key question asked to determine if your avatar may come along. Yawn.
--B) Randomize the dungeon. Put the traps in different places; Mix up the location and combination of nasties met along the way. Randomize the "deck" used by the "nasties". Possibly have a cave in on the "main path" forcing adventurers to take a detour they normally avoid. I am advised by tech savvy types such randomization can be built in; possibly by some random factor driven off of the makeup of the group entering the dungeon.

--Under "B" the key questions changes from "do you know the fight?" to "Do you know how to play your character?" which is much preferred in my book.
