Could we get a brief status update on the things specifically mentioned during the Kickstarter or since and whether they are on track, delayed, have changed, or maybe haven't been started yet.

And finally (until someone else adds something else) I would suggest the following to keep us busy and not making threads like this, and perhaps to reduce future work load from the Devs:

· “User ‘Help Create an NPC’ Form?

 

I am in the process of gathering updated information for a revamped FAQ, but that is on my ever growing task list which also includes monkey juggling, Hangout Hostess, CS/tech support, and trying to get up to speed on my writing tasks for SotA. So, if you guys can make me a condensed, specific list of FAQ type questions you want the answers here, that would rock. Of course, I can't answer everything, as there are still lots of answers we don't have yet, but I can at least refer to this thread as a feedback guide. And please don't SPAM the same topic over and over... that will only bog things down.

And yes, I know you want to know about PvP, Economy, Magic, and *insert your favorite game feature here*. I am asking for feedback on what FAQ type stuff you want added to the FAQ; I won't be posting design docs on game features there.

(p.s. ~ I cleaned up the thread and removed the off topic stuff to help keep it organized per Phredicon's request. Don't take it personally, I even deleted my own posts, including a really cute monkey.)

Yes, but again, that takes someone like me or Dallas off the work we are doing to get Alpha ready, which is our current priority/milestone.

Just to echo the issue, yes, if this is the problem, then this should be a priority. My thread may sound a little dire, but frankly I know development cycles.

The longer it goes without true back and forth input and decision dissemination, the more upset people will get about the pledge level, which currently amounts to nothing more than a few days advance notice over the non-dev+ areas.

While I appreciate the effort community leaders like FL make to get information, almost half the answers above are all wait and see.

We have been waiting, when does the participation in the process begin?

 

+5. Frankly, it does feel this way. We are being shown stuff that is done, and if isnt already done, we are being told to wait until they can show it (when it's done). It certainly doesn't feel like we are being given a true opportunity to contribute.

Like joviex, I also have quite a bit of experience with development, and feel that I (and many other dev+ members, you know who you are) have a lot to contribute to this project. All we need is the opportunity to do so.

 

+1 As Well. I'd like to start being involved in the "meat and potatoes" discussions.

 

I very much feel included. Now, lots of conversations are taking place in the General Forums, but that's ok. We are getting the behind-the-scenes on creature concepts, Avatar development, and the Unity Assets, be it crowd-sourcing opportunities or the Dungeon-creation kit are super cool even if I haven't had a chance to play with them.

That said, I'd love more! I've never been so excited to sign a gag order

Actually, this complaint started in the DEV+ area a month ago and as of yet has received a total of a single developer reply to say the RTX demo was so draining that we should wait.

I waited for another 3 weeks before bringing it up again, and others have echo'd their concerns outwards.

 

I would like to see some information about the status of some of the stretch goals

Reason I ask is because it seems one at least has been dropped or revised, specifically the "new you" goal.
