Are NPC's selling lot deeds yet?

The price from a player will be much higher than from an NPC and normal players will have to wait in line behind the friends and guildmates of those holding the deeds.

 

Can you please suggest me some NYSE shares?

Perhaps they should put a cap on accounts for lots?

Well it made sense for the Place anywhere deeds to be a lottery so a) it didnt mean just the rich few got them and b) they can release them over time and not overrsell them, althought Im not sure theyve thought it all the way through.
ie what happens if say a way down the line 50% of players whove bought deeds on the store quit and the houses lots become available, will they not just sit there empty forever as they dont want to oversell ???
Would have been a far better idea Imo to release them in batches overr time on the npc vendors and have a more Uo like land grabbing experience where the 1st step is to aquire a deed then you try and find space or an Idoc and camp it.

Secondly I see no need as they did PoT house lot deeds seperately that they should be included in the lottery. As there are tons of PoTs and PoT spaces then overselling these shouldnt be a problem as they come with a disclaimer telling you to make
sure 1st you have a space ingame to place them. This really should be changed so these PoT only deeds are not part of the raffle and are available to purchase from Npcs in the game. @DarkStarr

Seems simplest thing to do would be to make PoT only buyable for gold then.
I also like the idea of limiting lotto participation to 1 ticket per account. This would make things significantly more fair.

 

Sadly RL keeps me from keeping up to date so I have made some seriously bad assumptions.

 

Well I guess most people aren't really happy with the lottery thing or at least the way the lottery itself is done.
I will try to hold my personal judgment untill i see how the first round ends.
I bought PoT only Tickets. If I Win one you can have it if you put it to good use ^^

I guess my plan was to try and progress organically in the game but so far it has been a failed experiment. I sold all my high end account (lots and all) to do so but it is VERY hard to survive with the current economic and real estate rules. I have said this from the beginning but am more so worried about new entry players as they will soon realise their disadvantage.

I hope they can get this right...

 

Haven't checked the lottery in game yet, because I haven't had the need, but I have to ask a question before I go too much further.

Are all the lottery tickets (aside from the free ones being made available initially) fixed price? Can anyone (landed or not) buy them?

 

Anyone and everyone with enough money can buy them. Is currently 5000g for POT types and 10Kg for non-pot types.

 

Next question (meant to include it in the initial post): Are you limited to the number you can buy?

 

Only by the purse you accumulated. Earned a lot? Go buy a lot - if you like gambling.

 

Ok, so here's a possibility.

When buying tickets, have the system perform a check for lot/lot deed ownership:

Don't own a lot and/or deed? Price per ticket increases by static increments, like 10k+(x*5k), here x is the number of tickets owned.

Already on a lot and/or deed? Price increases in a more exponential fashion, like doubling in cost for each successive ticket.

This could help keep the haves from rigging it too much in their favor by purchasing crazy numbers of tickets.
