Starling. Starlings are known for their ability to mimic sounds and their practice of embedding sounds from their surroundings in their own calls. Like Parrots, they're capable of mimicking human speech patterns. Mozart owned a pet starling, and taught it to sing his Piano Concerto No. 17 in G. When the bird died, he wrote a poem to eulogize it at its burial. Eagle Owl. The only current owl pet is a barn owl. That's not a suitable familiar for a great wizard! The majestic eagle owl is more like it. This is the type you would imagine seeing Merlin train and own. Little Owl. A very small owl, its scientific name Athene noctua is based on its association with Athena. Its also referred to as the Owl of Athena, or Owl of Minerva. Snowy Owl. Its beautiful coat makes it an attractive pet. An all white variety can also be made with the same model. An all-white snow owl was used in Harry Potter. Parrot. What's a pirate without a parrot? Not a proper pirate, that's what. Hawk. For use in hunting, of course.
There are some birds already available through pledges or the add-on store; I'm just giving some suggestions for more. We have ravens, barn owls, golden eagles. Btw, a white eagle would be nice too. Would just need a new skin.
Hmmm... as an extra option to chose from as a pledge reward pet? (At knight level and above we already get a high amount of pets... Would be nice if we could 'swap' some of them for a different pet, for instance from the add-on store...)
And we dont have a clue what we can tame ingame, you guys did know taming is in? Im fine with Portalarium adding some pets to the store, but leave some for us to work for ingame too
