Blood Bay Judge's Hold - stuck behind locked door

I used the boat to Blood Bay and selected Judge's Hold as my destination.
Instead of appearing at the shore, near the boat, as I had expected, I appeared in a totally empty room behind a locked door.

Random spawn points are a great idea in order to avoid spawn point ganking, but being trapped in a very small room (where perhaps one day you won't be alone) is not an all too pleasent experience.
