    If you missed the R31 postmortem livestream yesterday, we had a great time drawing the real life blood of Lord British and Lord Darkstarr!

    You can now watch the recording on YouTube:




    Blood reliquaries are preserved, human blood specimens placed within sculptural chambers; suggestive of the relics and reliquaries found in diverse religious traditions. They are often now found as symbols in games, or in this specific case, real life game studios... and maybe now in your own home!

    I just have the slight fear that it will be the Kobold great Hall with a Viking Skin.
    On the other Hand the Layout would be pretty good.
    Oh well we will see I guess.

    I am curious to see if they will sell. Auctioning off blood reliquaries is a bit risky, in my opinion, despite all the digital goodies that go along with them. First of all, it's kind of icky, and not something everyone would want to display in their living room. Secondly, the blood could be removed and distributed at a crime scene, thus framing the donors for a crime they didn't commit. :eek:

    I thought I'd just put this out here for fun. Anyone that bids on these items that would like to use the "Option to have your Player Owned Town Water turn Blood Red*" but perhaps doesn't have or want their own town. Please feel free to use this unique power on the waters of Rats Nest. I'd be honored to include this in the towns history and lore, giving your character full recognition for further polluting the area. :cool:

    Perhaps the way you should be looking at this is more like "These guys will LITERALLY give their own blood to try to make this game as good as it can be!"

    I can imagine Starr lying in a hospital bed on his last breath, ready to donate this vital organs for the success of this game, and with his dying words saying "I hope Lord Darkmoon enjoyed single player mode." Then seeing your response as "It was good but it wasn't better than Ultima 7." With that Starr flat lines and the scene fades to black.

    Paying for blood is not a universal practice. In Australia for example the reward for donating blood is a cup of tea and a biscuit (that means cookie if you're American).

    Watching Darkstarr fade out during the blood letting, it does make for an interesting spin on the backstory for the Lord of all things chaos... Maybe in-game, he pukes and swoons every time he PKs someone. haha

    I hope this thread gets locked and hidden away somewhere. I could understand maybe selling the ponytail on ebay as a joke and at the same time earn some money and publicity, but blood? Not everyone will get the joke, or think it is the right way to get folk to talk about the game.

    Question: IS the blood sample still liquid or dried? The blood is on a glass slide?
