[By design] Cave Fables II Missing

I know I've reported this in a previous release, but I can't recall if I've ever gotten a bug number assigned.

Details: All of the Booksellers sell two versions of Cave Fables III, identical except for the cover.
Steps to Reproduce: Visit a Bookseller (loc is at Simone von Eglinger)

This is currently intended. Changes may be added later, however. There are some situations where books will have the same content but a different cover, meaning they can drop a different pattern.

Books do not produce patterns. They are only available from merchants. Additionally, this means content previously available cannot be accessed (i.e., a book I bought when it was CF2 now has changed to CF3).

I don't see how this can be intended.
