Details: Before the stockings would only place on walls, not on fireplaces shelves. Scottie posted about this and said its an either or thing and would change the type of surface that the fireplace was, but it seems what the stocking can adhere to has chagned cause now in the crafting pavillion the stockings wont go on the walls or the poles where they used to,

Stocking on left was placed 2 days prior to several patches. Stocking on right is the only way it will place, on the fireplace shelf or the fireplace rim. Can no longer place stockings like one on left now which severely limits deco use of this item.

 

This is actually by design. It was a bug when they were able to be placed on walls.

 

Tears are pouring down my cheek such limited use I had plans for these old socks.

@Attenwood are the store ones limited like this too?

If so you should put that disclaimer on the add on store that they can only be placed on fireplaces.

 

It's not just fireplaces. Their design is for them to be hung on ledges. Mantles, shelves, table edges, desks, etc.

Sorry to bring such pain.
