    Hi,

the topic says it all. I have a kind of letter i need to bring in-game. I would like not to re-type it ingame, so is there any way to copy-paste from a text editor?

Yes. I do it all the time copying song lyrics to a book or notepad. I find if I copy the lyrics or whatever to note pad on my computer then highlight and hit control c then in game I've already opened a blank book or blank note and titled it then hit continue and hit control v to paste and then publish to save it. I hope that helps. I've done it a lot. I made bingo cards for an event my guild put on. ;)

Also on a printing press you can make copies as well of what you just created. All kinds of fun stuff;)

You already got the answer... cut and paste does work for books and sheets of paper.

You might want to review this if you haven't already: https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/f...and-publishing-in-shroud-of-the-avatar.67785/

It reflects the current state of the publishing system.

Still waiting for the time when they make letters/books uncopyable except by the original author.

Game copyright:) Would be handy if that gets implemented that we could make books that could be copied by everyone. Ofcourse it would be handy to have guild only books or even better if we could have publishing house with people having different levels of permission or at least option to copy anything from anyone that was made by the same publishing house.

Some programs seem to work differently in Linux. I know the Terminal uses Ctrl-Shift-C/V for cutting/pasting. I also noticed that sometimes Ctrl-C doesn't work with certain programs, try Right-Clicking and selecting Copy.
