Cannot use bladed skills!

Hi Everyone,
I am lvl 68 in bladed combat but for some reason cannot use thrust/riposte.
I am having the same issue with deflect and dodge.
When editing my deck it states that I need bladed/shield/light armour equipped, but I have those equipped!
I am sure I am missing something obvious - can anyone help?

Broken weapon maybe? When your sword breaks all glyphs grey out. Hover over it and check the durability.

Your equipped sword is in your main hand, correct

 

hey Sara, just checked, the weapon is at 64/100 durability and is in my right hand. I am using a cutlass if that makes a difference - I tried equipping a regular sword to see if that made a difference but alas no luck.
Errr I chose the path of mage - might it be a class blocking thing?

 

You probably know this but it doesn't hurt to check your deck. Sometimes they get messed up. Perhaps a bug or who knows. Here is my routine and I have had my decks buggy before. Good luck and if none of this works try bug reporting.
So to check click on the y key and modify deck make sure skills (all copies for example 1-5) to the right window and then that you drag them to the slots you want and lock or unlock as you prefer. Next click on use current equipment. Then done. If you cannot use the y key see a trainer to open this up.

 

thanks Majoria - that did the trick! I just created a new one - still not sure what was going on with my original, I was getting this message:
"this glyph cannot be drawn to any of this decks hotbar slots"

 

What glyph was it ?
