Im struggling finding a vendor that sells sub level 20 carpentry recipes to begin levelling carpentry. Id like to be able to make furniture.
I see magic vendors and blacksmiths everywhere, and the carpentry trainer/vendor I do find (in Aerie I think?) wasnt selling recipes below 20 that I could find.

any tips also on getting carpentry up so im not wasting materials on items I dont intend on using and will end up not being able to sell would be appreciated as well.

The carpenter in Ardoris has many of the lower-level recipes. He's next to the blacksmith/weapon/armor dealer in Sequenna Square.

Scooby Doo's trick would be the best, do not waste ressources and time trying to craft beginner recipes when you could simply salvage gear and train the skills that way! Kill enemies, loot crates, chests, bags, gather all the junk you can, and then salvage any clothing, armor or weapon, for an easy way to train Tailoring, Blacksmithing and Carpentry.
