Me so hard control my Rage, if I see, how people rage about nerf his class/build;
It's game: Easy to learn, hard to Master.
Nothing to rage about, questioning the logic of the balances applied - why some meta can solo in places where others stand no chance. That's not balanced in my book and I am entitled to my opinion as you are yours.
Have you noticed that death magic can’t think about soloing half the game? Only recently was it allowed to do damage to undead, and the way it works - there is no chance to solo.
Yes I know, and I am not being critical as I know it is a complex thing to balance. But as a suggestion If you laid out skills and put them into tiers with regards to output range and function (evade, movement etc), for each skills tree ensure you have a matching group of capabilities across each tier so no school is handicapped. Then for each of those groups have a capability band of min / max damage or heal or mitigation or whatever per tier Tier 1 damage highest to tier four or whatever. The same can be applied to artefacts and crafted items to give crafters parity in the power scale - tier them and band capability keeping and fair and even mix. Apply across all and you have balance. When looking at damage output that can be a raw number per target or DPS over time but the capability per school should even in terms of choice. At the moment you have one school which has high output across a group vs others which have vastly limited impact, we have schools with big capability gaps and specialisation instead of rewarding focus in something you like forces a meta build if you want to solo or operate at a competitive efficiency level.
In doing this you also have a chance to balance PVP as well as PVE, it might require some new skills, it might require some adjustment to existing ones but that is needed IMHO as we have some skills which are very under utilized and for good reason. They increase the capability gap in a huge and significantly negative way.
Whilst some variety can be used in implementation - death school gets a mist shadow form for fast travel in line with duration and damage mitigation to other school as an example. You can then allow specialisation to drive variation, gain make this a little deeper than one effect per skill, you could have four sub factors per skill when you could apply focus based on your specialisation level attained as an example to avoid the vanilla build trap. Allowing real specialisation to blend with an individual player play style.
Also if you apply changes from that point going forward do it uniformly across all, then becomes a much more manageable metric with regards to game design.
I see you play ESO also. ESO has classes, SOTA is a a classless game. Have you also looked at soloing with the sun, water, moon, chaos, subterfuge, focus, life, tactics or shield spec?
Archers having trouble killing stuff now? I pew pew'd a bit yesterday. Seemed okay and things still died.
Same. And it was still incredibly easy. Before, it was like frying an egg by throwing it at the sun. Now it's like melting butter by dropping a nuke on it.
We'll get there someday, where it's more like shooting an arrow at a target. We just have to convince Robin Hood and his Merry Men that they are not a new version of the Avengers in which everyone is the Hulk in Hawkeye cosplay.
This video proves nothing at all, if you want to show me something really interesting and you will know Fire Mages are not OP. Show me a video before she got down here. A video before she opens the portal to the dragon area.
This video just shows how to play Fire Mage you drop ring of fire run in a circle and drop fire balls. That's all fire mages do, that's their only way to play. It does not make them op. You can view a video of an Archer doing exactly the same and they will not loose an ounce of health or focus.
Show me a video of her fight the Lich and tons of zombie not just the easy part of the fight. Come on now.
I was wondering the same thing.. that room before the dragon's is a *****.
Is it a requirement to defeat all the enemies in that room?
Lich Archer big group - Fire mage mb Win, but in room - Archer Skeleton with Berserk(hard damage + crit) and arch-mage skelet )
Zombie? Lol, easy:
- Psalm of Stagnation x5
- Ring of Fire x6
- Fireball x6
Ez win zombie
and one more - Not all Dragon fire mage can kill
I test Despair Dragon room - Dragon have very high fire resist, it's sad
I want to see the video in the lich/zombie room I am truly interested in that. Think it would be a cool one.
Okay my Friend, Only for you, I make video )
Next video: Use fire to attenuate without using a single fire glyph like you can with archery.
need gold or armor, to make Archer Build, and make Video - WUT STYLE! Archer Kill Zombie Room
But need check all resist zombie, and make good build.
If all zombie have good P.Def - Archer can't farm
AzazelReborn you can watch this my new video.
When buffing yourself and dealing with undead trying using this skills they will help a bit.
5 Stack those two and you should handle more damage and less healing.
Dont get what you mean, how can you use Archery to attenuate without using a single archery glyph?
Separate names with a comma.
