Chat window issue

It would be cool if it was easier to select who or what channel you want to be typing to.

When I select to whisper to someone I should be able to easily switch back to local chat or group... point and click is easy... having to type commands like /local or .party reminds me of text games on BBS systems 30 years ago... you'd think you guys could have come up with something a little more user friendly.
