Colossus Concerns

    So, I have a couple concerns about the Colossi of our favorite titans. Why exactly are they built on platforms bearing Obsidian symbols? Per The Sword of Midras, they were figures that challenged the Obsidian Empire. Shouldn't these be built more like the Oracle buildings, with their distinct marble appearance? Why are they surrounded by Obsidian monsters and Ebon Cultists?

    Perhaps I'm confused, but this doesn't seem to match the lore than @Lord British has given us so far...

    If there is lore that makes sense for them to be there, I'd love it. I just havn't seen anything to support it.
