Here's my feedback about Cone of Cold.

    My main negatives are:
    - moving or turning around while preparing to cast or casting the spells cancels it and removes it from a dynamic slot. This is a nuisance, because targeting the spell right is important for the best damage and mobs move while I'm casting.
    - it takes forever to raise the spell to GM. Admitted, my xp pool is only a few million, but progress is reallly really slow compared to other skills.

Damage is ok against multiple targets.

On the positive side: luckily the reagent cost of Cone of Cold was lowered!

I'm curious what other people's thoughts are!

there's an option to keep you from moving when you're casting spells that get interrupted from movement. only affects those, i believe.

Here is my feedback on the skill back when it was on QA. Haven't noticed the spell canceling or what not (just noticed Alleys Response, that could be it!)

To sum it up, I was really happy about this spell, it added some decent damage for water mages, and if Ice Field worked like Caltrops, I think the water mage kit would be perfect.

It would be fun if it had a chance of (depending on skill) of a freeze animation. We did have that at one time when ice/ water Mages were sadly stripped of their ability to freeze and slow enemies but yet stun persisted for example and confusion.
