Kindly have a look at the image below - that explains the issue.
The top image is a clip from Discord chat today, and the lower image contains the remedy.

Please disable the "Salvage" option as SOON AS A REPAIR KIT IS PLACED ON THE TABLE.

Why does the crafting table lag so much? Is it just constantly syncing state with the server to avoid exploits?

I've never made this particular mistake but frequently find myself wanting to smash the thing with a rl hammer. Dragging an item from one list to another list shouldn't be so error prone and yet somehow it is.

I so agree with you Frost! Why does it have to be on when you have a repair kit? Really? Such a simple solution that just doesn't get fixed. *Sigh*

I think moving the button or just greying it out when a repair kit is on the table should be an easy no-brainer fix. Please devs, fix this :)

Thanks, several of us have requested several times to try and get the salvage button moved away from the craft and repair button for while now. :(

While you're at it can I suggest disabling the salvage button if either a tool is not equipped or you don't have the proficiency to salvage?

If you have your own stations place them in a basement and you'll find the lag disappear, no more triple clicking or replace item messages.

Happened to me too not that long ago...came back tired, humming "It's been an hard day's night, and I've been grinding like dog", thought to check up and repair my gear before calling it quits, and *poof-clink* turned my best bow into 5 wood scraps.

Yes please, move the button and/or grey it out when doing repairs.

Edit: The Salvage button has just taken yet another victim, this time, luckily, my spare bow. 11x wood scrap.

Been an issues ever since Salvaging was introduced, has always been a problem and has been asked for but now all it gets Is a look at?

this is a no brainer at least move it so it is not even close to the same area.

I'm curious to find out what's the hesitation behind the delay for this adjustment. Is the UI written with Assembly or something?

Looks like a pretty simple fix really. Just move salvage to the far left.

While you're looking at it, can we have the batch counter improved? More than 20 batches and easier way to go to max (allowed or available in inventory).

Is there a benefit to using a crafting table for repairs instead of just dropping the repair kit on the item in the paperdoll window?
