Roadway wedges work differently than castle wall wedges.

Castle wedges are designed to allow you to connect walls diagonally, while roadway wedges are designed to provide a corner for perpendicular pavers.

However, one of the natural uses of roads -- which I'm trying to do here -- is to run them along a wall. You can't do that neatly, because the wedges don't transition the same way.

I would like to have diagonal roadway wedges that allow you to connect roadway pavers diagonally and have them neatly transition.

The same thing would apply for walkway wedges. Note that a diagonal transition would allow players to do a lot more than just attach two pavers placed at a diagonal, because using more than one diagonal transition allows you to create curves, and together with straight pavers, extend the curves. One could create a seamless circle of walkway pavers by connecting wedge-straight-wedge-straight-etc
