Just wondering if Festering Death Poison requires any hard to obtain reagents to make.
If it does, I will save my money on some other more needed items than getting the recipe.
Thanks for the info in advance.

PS: I am not trying to fishing for the ingredient list. Even I have the list I wont be able to make it without the actual recipe. This is for the folks who may not understand the craft system too well.

Its 3 rotten flesh, 5 nightshade, 3 flasks to make 3 potions. Rotten flesh can be looted off zombies, and people sell them for about 10 per.

    Question about Potions

I recognized they are not for combat bar, but duration is often short.
    Usefull?
To me there is no benefit i see in using portions, but i sometimes use focus potions i looted to recover faster.

Do people use potions a lot?
    Maybe I miss something ???

You can put them on you non combat bar and use them in combat by mouse clicking them in combat. The poison skill increases the duration, I think they last a minute with the skill gmed, but I should double check that, I am not positive. In pvp, the festering poison is awesome with it healing debuff, and corpion poison just adds 30 damage per hit so its nice in pve.

How does one obtain the non basic Poison Potion, because I've played over 900 hours, and I have never saw an NPC Merchant selling them or ever got one on a drop? I know PC Vendors sell them, but how do they get them to sell to begin with?

I'd add that [shift-number] will also select from the non-combat bar.

you can put 2 or 3 different focus or health potions on the noncombat bar and be able to heal quicker or more often. I still rarely use potions as well, maybe a might potion to tp.

They do drop, just not very often. I was getting a decnt amount of them from the mages in the rise, but they are not an easy fight nowdays.

So the corpion poison actually gives more raw damage than festering?
In which case if my purpose is only for PVE Festering poison isn't that great compared to Corpion?

If your doing a boss and the regen is problematic for you the festering can help with that, if not, ya corpion.

I use potions all the time. Wolf speed is a must use for me for many areas.. Pot of Might, Haste and Deftness are also often in my rotation; again depending on what I'm fighting. It'll be interesting to see if I really *need* these in the same way when my preferred Melee weapon (Polearms as most know) finally starts doing decent dmg. I also use poison for some mobs but not all that often. Ofc I'm still a PvP Noob so I can't speak to that from personal experience though I know (because I get a lot of input from players that know what's what) they def make a difference.

@Mac2 I just checked the duration of poison; At GM I have 45 seconds

You can always check out the WTS section in the market place forums.

Also I can always make you some. I cannot currently make festering death or the other chaotic one. The rest I can whip up. PM me what you need / want.
