    With the ingredients we have, we could make pumpkin, lemon, apple or tomato juice, and coconut or banana smoothies, or vegetable smoothies with lettuce, carrots, onions...
    Juices and smoothies from a single vegetable could give the same benefits as the base ingredient, but multiplied. And those that use several ingredients, also multiplied benefits and also some increase in life points, for example. Or that they put rainbow skin on you :D

    Historically, fermentation was a preservation technique. Non-fermented grape juice wasn't a product until 1869 when Dr Thomas Welch applied Luis Pasture's newly developed pasteurization process to it to create a non-fermented communion wine for the Methodist Church (which objects to the consumption of alcohol).

    Even then it took about a generation before Welch's grape juice was very popular.

    I guess the point is, this is kinda anachronistic.

    Yea the juice would typically let them ferment in barrels, but if you did want to keep "authentic" to a medieval setting we could have fermented juices like

    Apple juice --> cider
    Pear juice --> perry
    Blackberry/mulberry juice --> murrey
    Plum/sloe juice --> prunellé
    etc.

    And besides drinking, these would also be used for cooking, or for making cordials.

    And orange juice and lemon juice were used straight in medieval cooking.

    Then you also have things for cooking like,
    Crab-apple juice --> verjuice
    Sour-grape juice --> agresto

    How important authenticity would be is subjective, because the game isn't completely authentic to a particular historical period, especially now with all the wonky stuff from the add-on store

    What complications! I was just thinking of putting the fruits on the kitchen workstation and hitting the "create" button.
    Or we could use a kobold fruit juicer or a blender :D

    Yea, personally I always preferred the game feel more authentic, with some out of place stuff being OK but as outliers. But trying to make it feel authentic is maybe long gone and its up to the devs to decide what to do.

    Although honestly cider is one of the drinks I always felt they should add within time, so its a good place to start.

    A few drinks I'd really like to see in game,
    - Cider, good in winter and against cold
    - Rum, for the pirates, and maybe a watered down version called Grog
    - Brandywine, because its Medieval-ly of course
    - Sparkling Wine, ie champagne or prosecco, for New Years celebrations

    You could also btw have a Royal Elderberry Wine or something from the Royal Elderberry plant
