    There has been a lot of love given to fishing lately. And i enjoythe fishing aspect of the game. In fact i'm really excited for lava fishing next release. BUT ...

    it seems like all the hype around dungeons has died out. Sure, we can get room blueprints, and do layouts. We can even add some deco. But what's the timeline for more interesting stuff, like:

    * encounters
    * teleports
    * secret doors
    * loot
    * mining?
    * fishing?
    * npc's and conversation trees
    * some type of limited scripting (i think lua was mentioned at one point?)
    * etc etc - you know, all the stuff that would make it possible to run a cool user generated adventure.

    Episode 2, most likely. Dungeons were originally part of that release, and have been moved up. There is a lot of functionality that should be coming in with the new systems.

    Chris said R62 for the next big burst of dungeons fun. 60 & 61 are just very short release.
    I do know they are working on the sample dungeon breakdowns and hookups.

    Encounters likely in next couple of months.

    Npcs and quests are not planned yet. Desired by devs in the future, but not schedualed

    So, I was just about to post about these... Is it possible right now to build a rudimentary dungeon? I know you can assemble stuff in the Unity Editor for planning etc... But can I legit make something runnable right now if I had the blueprints? I saw something recently about using COTOs to cookie cut corridors and so on. I'd love to see a good guide on dungeon making actually. @Vladamir Begemot you're up buddy! ;)

    :) I'm still waiting, there aren't any enemies in yet. I made a great pentagram in a single room dungeon though!

    I hope I can save that room and move it elsewhere later.... it took forever.

    so am I understanding this correctly - I can build my dungeon using blueprints and recipes now, but it effectively doesn't work - there are no enemies/encounter rooms active yet?

    everytime I enter mine it just shows the little blue crossed pickaxes on each exit and the dungeon is empty - is that as far as we can go at the moment?

    I've seen elaborate dungeons by @Tazar and @CatherineRose.

    (Falling Waters Fortress / Tazar & Dragomir Mori / Catherine Rose)

    The one in Dragomir has some decorations and is the most complete one I have seen. It appears to have every room currently in the game.

    It is open for touring and the creator will show you around if you see her online.

    There is a Twitch video showing how to create them.

    Starts about 30 minutes into the stream.

    Just been storing all my blueprints and recipes. Going to wait for a time I can get totally engrossed in it.

    some of those rooms (most of them actually) take a lot of granite, so start saving that too!

    If I recall the encounters were waiting on a good way to make patch mappings. Dev built dungeons were all hand done, where Player ones being all random require an automated system to generate the path mappings.

    I'd like to see the store reciepes/blueprints as well some fixes to broken object placement in some rooms. At least then one could use all the parts in the design rather then having to keep rebuilding... hint hint ;)

    in the mean time waiting for the next big dungeon patch, trying to fill my void until then lol.
