Details: Until R32 you were able to whip through Edwin's quests so it probably wasn't noticed that Edwin's crafting quest stages don't appear in the Current Tasks journal. Entries are placed in the Knowledge section of the journal though. Now that you can't make cloth bolts until L25 and you can't make yards of leather until L25 (because of the new skill requirements, unless this changes between build 378 and live), it's probably a good idea to have current task entries for this quest.
Steps:
- head to Soltown
- talk to Edwin in the Tailor Shop
- sign on as an apprentice
- you'll be given the task to gather some raw cotton
- check the journal, there probably isn't an entry in the Current Task section of the journal
- if there is try some of the others, I didn't notice this until I had to make bolts of cloth

We're going to redo this tutorial quest next release so it matches changes to the crafting system, and we'll add journaling support then.
