End of Summer Telethon of the Avatar Prize Update!

If you are one of our lucky winners from Monday's Telethon of the Avatar, then I have great news. All winners of physical prizes (Signed Concept Art Posters and SOtA Challenge Coins) have been sent an email requesting your shipping address. Please check the email associated with your SotA Account at your earliest convenience and let me know via that email where we can send your prize.

If you are the winner of one of our digital prizes ($10 Store Credit ~or~ the Patron, Ancestor, or Lord pledge), then there is no need to contact us. I've passed your information along to our Account specialist, who will add your prize to your account as soon as he can. Please allow 5-10 business days for the prize to be awarded to your SotA Account. We are quite overwhelmed with support requests at the moment, but we will try and get digital prize delivery prioritized.

If you won a prize not sponsored by Portalarium (water.org items or the HoB Cabinet) then please contact the prize sponsor directly, as we are not overseeing the distribution of these prizes.

I believe they said during the telethon that they hoped to have the telethon rewards (going on memory here) in about a week. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't expect them right away. I have no doubt there will be an announcement when they are awarded.

 

I am still doing my happy dance.

 

I was super excited when I heard my name called for the last drawing of the day! then realized it was only for $10...which I appreciate but it was a little anticlimactic for the last prize of a 12 hour marathon. At least I can buy some bushes.

As far as I know, these won't be reflected until the next release.... but definitely by launch.

A question for your colleagues though, why wasn't these rewarded using the same tech as the DarkStarr Rewards?

That is the telethon rewards show up as account rewards next to the hats, which makes them non-giftable, while the DarkStarr Rewards showed up as addon items, which means we could Gift them to someone.

There are a couple of folks out there who couldn't join the telethon and others who has spares, so the players would love to be able to Gift these.

 

I don't see why any of the Special Rewards Items shouldn't be gifted using the same method as Add Ons are gifted.

 

If you want to hand them out to another person just trade or lend them ingame (after launch of ep1).

 

Have any of the other pledge winners received their pledges yet? It is quite a bit beyond the 10 business days, and I didn't know if they are still backlogged or if mine was misplaced.

 

They gave it to me on acciden......... I mean... I hope it wasn't misplaced .

 

I won a poster. Sort of forgot about it until this thread was revived. I haven't received it yet and it would probably be a good idea to have an ETA for when to expect physical rewards as I have a very long, treacherous driveway that delivery trucks refuse to come up. If a package doesn't fit in the mailbox I can pretty much always count on them to throw it in the ditch rain or shine. Nice, eh? Some of them bag it, some don't.
