    We are removing the Quest requirements for Estgard in the patch going live tonight. We are very, very sorry for the inconvenience caused by this.

    It's a bit sad to see the story aspect of SOTA again suffering due to the multiplayer aspect :-(

    Seems like anything plot related gets nerfed due to multiplayer requirements.

    Oddly I walked into Estgard just a bit ago and there were other players there as well. I guess since I hadn't started a quest it worked okay for me.

    It's more because the gates were put in before the quest to open them was.

    Right now if you show Brigid's amulet of testimony they recognise it but don't do anything about the gates. The quest isn't in yet.

    Ah, okay, well that's okay then :)

    I'm just hanging out to get into the story but want to wait until all the NPCs have proper characters and the story is completed, so I get a bit nervous when changes are made that could negatively impact quests etc.

    be aware that a very large portion of story stuff simply isnt in or done yet, so explore the story at your own risk ;)

    Personally, im avoiding any quests or story content like the plague until its done

    Dont know where to report this, because the quest requirement is gone, but i found a way to get in withtout the quest.
    Done in Friends Only:
    If you are inside Estgard you could open the doors and let other players in.
    The Doors wont close and everybody can come inside the city.

    Well it's nice to be able to get back inside the city proper. Looking forward to seeing the next visual pass in R34 (and of course the final version once the courage plotline is in!).
