External Launcher

    Are there any plans to have a launcher that is not in Steam? I would love to have an external launcher for the game.

    Go to the account page and click the Game Client tab.

    If you have a Steam version installed you can run the .exe directly without Steam but you will need to set a password on your account first - since the login with Steam option is unavailable

    I never play on steam. Download the non steam client by clicking on the home key here in the forums and go to your account.

    Isn't it the same password that you use for the account management and forums? Or does Steam get you logged into the forums without one too?

    Steam gives you the option. Log in with Steam credentials, or enter your own for whatever account you have.

    Thanks all for the info! I got it all up and running. I didn't notice the external launcher because I have been mostly in the forums, reading up on the game. Love how helpful the community is!

    Plus you can DL and run the QA client without using Steam.

    If you run the QA client through Steam then it has to completely swap out the client and when you wanted to play the live client it would have to completely swap back.
