The docile animals of the forest will be no match for whatever weapon I use. Slowly build up my stocks of finely tanned hides and begin trading for other items I may need.

You left out "Cooking/Butchering".... Which is the simplest along with tanning. Then smelting/milling/textiles, once I figure out the skill point system then I'll decide what to specialize in...

Darn, you're right! there are 11 crafting stations, so I missed 4. I can't modify the poll, so I may have to start a new thread.

And the poll should allow multiple selections, since some people get more than one crafting station in the beginning ...

Blacksmith so that I can make Weapons and Armour, did think about the smelting table, but I would use the one in the community crafting area, that is if they have one.

Plenty of room along the side yard on a village lot for all the crafting tables :)

    Great suggestions Ronan and Curt!!

For me I am thinking of the smelting and blacksmith ones too. Carpentry would be nice too. Decisions, decisions!

Wonder if having the "expert" station near the end of the process is better than just the refining station?

I bought the 5 story mine basement, and they say I don't need a house to place it (any basement will do), just a plot large enough. I was thinking of having a farm on top... depending on how it all works, planting I mean... I'm thinking there will be a market for refined/harvested goods, I'm at Aldermen level, so they're giving me an vendor/plot...

I'm kinda going that way @SmokerKGB, I'll get my tax-free lot from Edelmann, and my house will go there. I also have a village plot from the store, which I plan to use for farming and also grabbed the 5-story village stone and timber to put underneath it. All my crafting stations will be found below.

I deally I'll be able to place next door, but if not....sooner or later I'll be able to make that happen
