Focus cost has increased

    So a warrior can actually attack without using focus though. Pure mages are the ones that really suffer the most from this since they are expending focus with each attack no matter what. I wonder if gear will off set this or if they will tone it down.

    The point for not forcing people into specific roles or making everybody make the same skill choices (such as reduce focus cost) could limit what we can gain or level (at least for a new character). I suppose a young mage could spend a lot of attention on gaining focus reducing stuff and focusing on one maybe two spell trees till the focus skills are at 80s then branch out to other skills. Although it might be easier to build a mage by being a bludgeon/leather armor guy and build it up that way. Seems like a lot less reagents and materials to be lost that route before trying to level up focus regen and reduced focus costs. Seems like a fair way to go. Who knows????

    Archers can use leather and be good with that, or even use heavier armor too. However magic users even hybrids won't want to wear heavy armor. Seems like a mage who travels alone will need a good tanking pet or maybe the earth/ice elemental can be tougher tanks by either regenerating or have the benifit of casting damage reducing spells on themselves or their master.

    This is still a problem, particularly for pure mages, that needs urgent attention.
    Non-mages at least can fall back on auto-attacks - either add some damage to staves/wands or put the focus costs back to where they were.

    Actually warrior do like 10 dmg at gm skill... Right now only Rangers can attack with decent dmg without mana
