Yes it is, but prior to r41 I and others never ran out of mana/focus, and, in some situations, didn't even need the food/devo buffs. Also, there are other ways, aside from the ones you listed, to help with focus. There are potions that can really be helpful, there are skills to reduce focus cost, sheathing your weapon when not in combat increases regen, etc. The regen loss hurt me at first, and i'm a mage. But, I'm finding ways to make sure I have the mana/focus I need to continue casting. It's all about balancing the game out, and I'm all for it(even if it makes things a bit harder.)

    I have a secret!

    ok, not a secret.

The most important spell on your combat bar is "aetheric feedback"

Press it at the end of combat, sheath your weapons, in a few seconds you are full focus since it generates 20 a second.

Focus regen blessing is a must have if you are archer. And what Starman said, aetheric feedback is good. I don't use it much after I found the harp of invigoration tho.

I get the blessing of Honor, eat a Wolf and Lamb Chops and then eat a Wolf Surprise.

That is what I thought about Deck size option, as well the main weapon attack bar-thingy.

    Oh well... /sigh

Does that work with melee crits or just spell crits?

I'm full plate and cast spells rarely.

I could use Passive Stance in the Tactics tree, but in a fight it's counterproductive as you are more vulnerable and do less damage while in stance. I'll have focus, but I'll be dead :p
