    It looks cool, but I would use only upper characters, it is nightmare to use visigemal system with numped with just 10 characters.

    Nope, multi-char runes have specifically been *removed* compared to the runes used in the Ultima's, where they *did* have them...
    Probably to make it "not as hard" to learn, since now a single rune maps to a single letter...

    Just out of curiosity, does it have other 'values' than just 1 and 5? I'd hate to have to write 5,498,321 with just the two 'values' shown...
    (Unless we abbreviate the system to 0-9, and just write 10-base numbers with this Inupiaq system)

    Thanks for info. This should make making of fonts even easier (though I must say that I would prefer more complex Tolkien/Ultima runes, there is greater sense of achievement if you have to learn more. Though I already had to learn English so runes are just bonus anyway:D)

    He said it is vigesimal counting system, i.e. base 20. So you would write characters for 1, 14, 7, 5, 15, and 1 (1E75G1) using those 20 characters he posted for individual numerals.

    There are already 3 New-Brittanian runic TrueType fonts available on Dame Lori's fan site (I don't have the link handy, as I am posting from mobile device)...
    They map 1 to 1 to Latin alphabet...

    The existing fonts only include letters.
    When we know what numbers look like, I'll be updating my fonts.
    Also, if there are other useful symbols, like the knots I already include as braces and brackets, I'll add those.

    But what is being asked for here, is to make it a font available for display in these forums.

    Well, there are, but none of them is available in this forum. Also they miss numbers and additional characters.

    Ahh yes, I can see that..oh well was a thought =)

    For the curious a video how to convert 10 base numbers to 20 base using the Mayan symbols ;)

    If everything is in runic, it will make it much harder for certain mods to bust us for swearing lol :)

    Seems like just a simple matter of hacking the forum software to allow this font and uploading that font to the server.

    Easy ! let's see it !
