FOV, how to increase it?

Like the title says. I use first person view and I want to be able to see more from side to side by increasing FOV, is there a way to do it? The view seems very narrow.

 

Not currently. They did modify FOV many releases ago, but its predefined for the game. Some items can affect this (telescope, etc), but only temporarily.

I believe one of the reasons they said they were not planning to expose this setting because it could be unfair in situations like PvP. Lots has changed, but that isn't one of them.

 

well increaasing the FOV in first person isnt going to give anyone an advantage in pvp. The view is just too narrow for 1st person, I feel like I am looking through a tunnel. Of course, that is exaggerated. Just increase it a little bit.
