Title: Game crash left me unable to finish quest
    Reproduction Rate: N/A
    Blocker? No
Details: I killed Anapa in Malice, then the game crashed. On returning there was no sign of Anapa and the doorway was blocked. I am unable to complete the quest.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    User Specs:
    OS: Windows 8.1 (6.3.0) 64bit
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8) System RAM: 16329
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN GPU RAM: 6042
    SotA.EarlyAccess.Win.64.397.Date.03.31.16
    Area: Novia_R5_Hills03_Malice
    Loc: (101.7, -3.3, 231.2)

    UPDATE:
Exiting the game and returning caused all the characters to respawn and I was able to conclude the quest. However, I was unable to leave the area because the life sucking shield that blocked off the entrance had returned. Unlike Skyrim's dungeons, I could find no quick and easy alternate exit (hint).

There will always be game crashes with a variety of causes. Perhaps in this particular case the game should remove the barrier if it is obvious you have already passed through it. More generally, this is a strong argument for retaining the "Resume on World Map" function, which I was forced to use.

    PS: Loved the story!

We'll try to get both an alternate exit open at the end of Malice when the story is finished as well as some way to detect that both barriers are down after a crash, but that will most likely have to wait until R29.
